Building techniques used include – suspended/cantilevered slabs, rock bolting, tension beams, spray crete, multi-level excavation with extensive use of retaining wall systems, suspended driveway and underground garage.

Works include major structural changes to floor levels, complete new façade and front. The upgrade included full ducted a/c, upgrade of fire services and safety systems, disabled access (including chair lift), reconfiguration of internal office areas ready for strata titling.

The construction method was double brick and rendered exterior walls, single brick interior walls rendered and white set, concrete ground slab, two suspended slabs, tiled roof, and wrought iron balustrades to balconies.

As there was only one elevator, all deliveries of materials had to be carefully coordinated especially due to security requirements.
